TUITION AND FEES

There are (5) Fees Paid Yearly: Registration Fee and Tuition Fee may differ for those students that registered in June or July. All of these fees will be billed to your account.  

1. Registration Fee – $45 Fee per student.
2. Tuition Fee – See section below.
3. Black History Production Fee – Covers student cost in the annual Black History production.
4. Recital Costume Fee – Covers students’ two costumes per class enrolled in.
5. Recital Production Fee – Covers student cost in the annual recital. Each student pays one Recital Fee.

Registration Fee

$45 Non-Refundable Registration Fee  per student and First month’s Tuition is due upon registration.

Tuition

Dance Season is for 10 Months, September – June. Tuition for 1 Class is $65 per month (except Specialty Classes which are $40 per month ) and additional classes are $40 each per month.

Specialty Classes (Cheernastics/Pom Dance, Contemporary/African Jazz, Liturgical/Mime, Mommy & Me, Beginner’s & Intermediate  Technique & Jazz Fusion, Beginners/Advanced Ballet/Pre-pointe) are $40 a month. There will be a $30 Late Fee assessed on the 10th of the month.

ANY STUDENT WITH A DELINQUENT ACCOUNT FOR TWO MONTHS WILL BE DROPPED FROM OUR ROLL AND NOT ALLOWED TO RE-REGISTER FOR THE SEASON UNTIL ACCOUNT IS PAID IN FULL. STUDENTS WILL THEN HAVE TO RE-REGISTER FOR THE SEASON.

BLACK HISTORY PRODUCTION FEE

The non-refundable Black History Production  Fee ($150) is due Wednesday, October 14th and  covers one costume, dance tights and/or accessories, and one Black History Production shirt.  Students in multiple classes pay $75 for each additional class (this will cover the cost of the additional costume). This fee also covers the cost  of the theater rental for rehearsal and production, security, photographer, printing fees, decorations, props and WDC staff. The Black History Production fee DOES NOT include tickets. (Dancers performing in the production don’t need a ticket). Tickets can be purchased during studio hours Monday  January 4th – Wednesday, February 17th  for $15.00 for ages 3 and up. A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door for $20.00 each. 

There will be a $30 late fee assessed for those who do not pay the Black History Production Fee by the deadline. Costumes WILL NOT be ordered after Wednesday, December 16th. There will be NO REFUNDS if a student drops. Fees do not include any alterations that may have to be made to the costume or additional accessories that may be needed. There will be a $40 (restock/shipping fee) if a costume must be reordered. The Black History Production Fee will be charged to your account if your child performs or not and  must be paid in full by the deadline to participate in the Black History Production. (See Important Dates section).

RECITAL COSTUME FEE

The non-refundable Recital Costume Fee ($175 per class) covers two costumes and is due Wednesday, January 6th. There will be a $30 late fee assessed for those who do not pay the costume fee by the deadline. Costumes WILL NOT be ordered after Wednesday, February 10th. There will be NO REFUNDS for costumes fees if a student drops. Fees do not include any alterations that may have to be made to the costume or additional accessories that may be needed. There will be a $40 (restock/shipping fee) if a costume must be re-ordered. More into TBD.

The Costume Fee will be charged to your account if your child performs or not and  must be paid in full by the deadline to participate in the recital. (See Important Dates section)

RECITAL PRODUCTION FEE

The non-refundable Recital Fee ($275.00 per child) is due Wednesday, March 10th. This fee covers the cost involved in the production including the theater rental for rehearsal and recital, security, photographer, videographer, printing fees, decorations, props and WDC staff. This fee also covers each student with a souvenir recital booklet with students’ individual picture, a digital copy of their individual picture, recital shirt, trophy, certificate, link to the recital recording, and four recital tickets. There will be a $30 late fee assessed for those who do not pay the Recital Fee by the deadline. The Recital Fee will be charged to your account if your child performs or not and  must be paid in full by the deadline to participate in the recital. (See Important Dates section)
